Is there anyone like me who really enjoyed playing as the Native Americans in the game? It was more of a challenge but satisfying being able to beat technologically advanced european nations with native armies! I think the Aztecs were especially strong among them even if they couldn’t reach the army size of say the Mayas or Delawares for example. The Pueblos were cool aswell :)

I think American Conquest was very best game indeed. Waterfalls and every environment were perfect. I watched some of the time like a valuable painting. Native American's were fantastic to play. But it was difficult to gather all of them when they were running away. Sioux had very good cavalry, Pueblos had limited population but good building with good shooters, Mayas, Incas and Aztecs had very good pikes and archers units. Delawere, Huron had very good units too. Diplomacy was also important that game too. I reached an agreement with more native nations and hired some troops or trade with them was so good too. I missed to play with them.

The Aztec spearmen were insanely strong! They could easily take down whole formations of pikemen and halberdiers with minimal loss thanks to their short ranged attack, and I believe they were the only natives with bullet protection aswell. Not to mention how beautiful their design was :)
