Effect of Latest Patch on client synch issues?

    Anyone notice any changes from the latest patch on client synch issues?

    What I am particularly interested in is this. Does a client's soldiers seems to lag less in movement during large battles? It's a strange issue which I call "synch lag". I hope people know what I mean. With synch lag, a lagging client sees a different battle to the host. Host sees nice clean battle with units dying where they should. Client sees units walking forward into and through enemy units and enemy units walking into and through his units (even though at least some or even many of these units are probably already dead on host's display). It happens in very large battles when a client has more than the usual amount of internet lag.

    Any observations or thoughts would be welcome, thanks.

    Footnote: Yes, I know it's my fault for being born in the Antipodes and having high internet lag to all other regions of the world. ;)

    I haven't got this problem lately but I'm almost never playing in multiplayer and I play with friends not so far. The last update did quite a lot to improve multiplayer so we can hope this issue became less an issue.
     
  3. Ftoomsh, please say: have you this bug in C1 netplay - its from here or only in C3?
    (Оther simpler variant that answer: this bug - presented from time of release C3 or added after it?)
    I am plan make unofficial patch W2K and relative its codebase C1.Imperia (MOD), which i am want continue&fix (maybe make and small fix K1 and even maybe K2 maybe not, that very not easy and becouse not one game in series, and not one series in me plans which currently in gamedesign state and counting bugs and cheats for block its).

    This bug was in C3 at release. It slowly got better until about start of this year, 2018. A release early this year made it much worse again. I gave up playing and modding. To be honest, maybe it only happens to clients with high lag times playing from the other side of the world to Europe and USA; that is to say from places like China, S.E. Asia and Australia.
