    Trust the develepors.
That's all I can say about this, remember in the past they didn't had any chances to change anything after the release of a game. Now they can just patch a game

Are you jocking? GSC made two addons for C1 game, two addons for AC game, one addon for C2 games.
They did some improvements, but all these games still had many similar glitches. Can I trust them without testing?

You know maybe they just cound't fix those bugs.
And now your saying can i trust them without testing??? It's not like theres going to be a beta......

You don't seem to understand that it is 2015 and not 2002 anymore. Nowadays you can easily release patches that are downloaded automatically upon starting the game.

This is truth. But the point is if such patches are going to be created and distributed among all players in a real or imaginary infinitive time?

It looks that you are jocking again.
They could not fix for example, nations or units balance, combat ranges, ratios or proper combat representations?
Do not be funny, HWK clan managed improve AC game by HEW mod, while GSC could not do it for such long time.
Even I, which had very little knowledge in modding, managed improve some bad things in C2 game for myself.
Why GSC could not do bigger improvements? Have you ever saw how many patches they've done?

Now you ae telling, lets we trust developers. It sounds like poor joke.
Can I believe that this time they would works much better?

I wish them good luck, but I also expect better treatment, better marketing and more testing!

Oh I can almost be certain that we will have glitches or bugs at the day of release and even after. That is the biggest advantage of giving powerful modding tools and good support after release. For a game like this there is no need for an extended release. You see GSC is not Microsoft games or Sony, or Bungie. They cannot afford to have their beta going for too long, and is not even a good idea in my opinion. The main reason is their fan base. They are not going to be one of a COD game or BF that people will purchase the games world wide. RTS like C3 have a very specific target , and that is people like us who like strategy at this level. Most people don't hence why RTS lately are not the most played games in the world. One advantage of this community is that its dedicated and after release it would be easier for the devs to sustain the game by adding content alongside the content comming from mods. Look at the most profitable, and most played games in the world, like dota2 or team fortress or league of legends. Those are the gods and rulers of the PC game community and they all have had plenty of bugs after release detected by the community, but with the growth of the game content thanks to the devs and the community content in the workshop they have quickly grown more powerful in content , profit and community . The dota2 beta. Was OPEN and only a few people played the game. Yet when they finally exited beta was when the game truly became big, even though it had many, many bugs and was a very quick beta for a game with such a large community.
I do not believed the games needs a long beta, one to two month should be fine. It needs to be out there so people can start adding to what could become the best rts ever.

Everyone has their own opinions and they are entitled to them. The only things that are a fact are the announcements from the developers themselves. After a very long time, more than 10 years away from the last Cossack series release and in a period where the only widely known RTS that is still alive and getting an expansion being Starcraft 2, Cossack 3 will be the game to fill that gap. In order to do so this is the time for it to be released. 2015 is the best year for it. The RTS community has been waiting for a good sequel to their most loved RTS games that is not just an HD remake of the same old game they played before. Cossacks 3 is the answer to that. It should be delayed only if necessary.

Don't let other opinions and commentaries get to you. After all we are all here to support Cossack 3. If you absolutely don't agree with someone state it. If the person takes your argument as a joke then just move on to the other hundreds of post and threads in the C3 forums.

I have had to delete one post, and warn a member about attacking other members.

Lets keep it civil, and fun. this is just a game after all, even if we all have a lot of passion for it.

I read an interesting interview on the Russian side of the Forum.

The following is just one small part of that interview. But I thought is answered some questions we are all having.

"The idea to do C3, is a revival of the series based on the game play of the first game. it was for a long time. We spent thousands of hours of network games and it is nice to remember those times.

Release C3 is not our ultimate goal. For us - its a launching pad.We will develop the game further.

Immediate plans after release:- Addition of new nations and units.- Balancing the multi player game.-

    The development of Internet shell.-

Active support for modders and everyone who has a vision of the game and wants to visit the developer version of its game play.

We already have an idea how to help modders and develop this area.-

Adding new single campaign / missions / historical battles."

People get way too worked up about the game and lose control sometimes of the things they say. As long as they understand that all that we have in the forum are opinions and that if you are looking for something specific you might not get it at release but maybe later on they should be fine and getting ready for pre-order.

Games have many glitches or bugs, that is known fact. It is not a problem when we can live with this bugs, but it would be good when developer do something more in beta testing for their future games. This do not mean that beta tests needs a long time, but it needs proper time. Beta should allow make some changes or needed imporvements. This could be hard to do it properly in three month to realise date. That was my point.

I am wondering if the nations added after release will be DLC or added in patches? I have no issue with supporting Cossacks 3 so will happily buy them if they are DLC. I just hope the community gets enough time to provide important feedback. I don't want to see nations like Ukraine become unbalanced in Cossacks 3.

Ukraine is unbalanced only on few options, on $$$ AOP pt 10 or 5k pt 20 is not so unbalanced

They plan to continue development after the game is out, so most likely it will be a patch not DLC.

For beta I wish some after-game board pop up with few questions about game like..... do you like it? did you find some bugs? did movement look realistic etc. with answer field or maybe some A) B) C) answers like a) it went well b) found some bugs etc. with answer fields and it should be whole connected by steam acc mail to not need write informations again and again........ I want this becouse mostly when I join some betas I can only write somewhere about bugs is after 30 minutes of finding and completing lists about what category, then contact etc. its just too long to do sometimes.... I think this would be more useful + some printscreen ingame saving into some file from which you can then attach it on that after game board
And to that questions there should be like 5-6 Q to not make it so long...... 5 asks from most important things from developers +1 overall that questions should change weekly or after patches..... and it would be great I think
Sorry for my bad english, Im not native speaker ;)

  18. I hope I and many of us Cossacks fans will be able to test this.I play Cossacks 1 since 5years old

They posted on Facebook last month that Beta test may be ready in a month, which would be around February. So beta may be out any day now. That could be why there is little communication and a lot of coding being done.
