    Some very nice sources for modding purposes or simply historical interest. Have fun reading and looking and feel free to show me your favourite sites too.

    Wallhausens training manuals. Very difficult to read, but the pictures speak for themself. Pictures of training methods and formations. These manuals were used all over Europe in east and west. There must be other language versions somewehere.

    Some nice youtube clips, there are so many i can't post them all. So i choose some of my favourite ones:

    Japanese musket festival/ yeah they really have a festival for this! Very interesting heavy guns.


    Funny american documentation about rifles. Very good explanation about the pros and cons of smooth bore muskets and a rifles.

    Great topic, well done! For main sources nowadays digital libraries are a must, I put the link of some digital archives here, but you'll find plenty of them.

    Yeah Pinterest is a fantastic site to find good picture material. Exzellent alternative to the picture search function of the google search engine.
