These are very low requirements for any modern PC, Looks like even less than C2 spec's.

Not quite "very low", but i should say decent.
C2 had lower requirements than C3.

My i7 and 980ti should have no issues then.

What kind of archaic machines are people running to be worried about those specs?

    Just because you don't invest 1K+ € in a computer doesn't mean it's "archaic".

In our times its easy to buy computer with recommended spec for 150-250 euro, not 1000. Please don't fall from one extreme to the other. In addition it's cheaper than 200 euro if you only change some computer components not whole computer.

980ti is 500€ (to the guy above you who talked about "archaic computers").

A computer worth 150-250€ will not run any modern game.

A GTX 1060 which is the mid range of NVidia of this year cost 300€.

Changin a GPU is easy, changing a CPU require you to buy a new motherboard most of the time.

Here is what I am talking about:
"Graphics: nVidia GeForce 560 / ATI Radeon HD 7900 Series "
Recommended is old geforce 560 and radeon hd 7900 not new nvidia 980 ti.

Are you sure that can not? I can easily find for you all components prices for cossacks 3 spec.

Will this run 10k units at 60 fps max settings ?
If it can, then congratulations to the devs !

Yes it will run because it is recommended. It means that all forks fine and fast. Just look at game screens. This is not so modern graphic. This game is not new FIFA or Witcher.

Personally I have a I5 2500k and a GTX 770 right now. So it should run the game perfectly well according to what you are saying.

You have very good specification, which is much much more than recommended specification. I am sure that you will be able to play on ultra.

I looked at benchmarks of your i5 2500k and I see it's a little bit slower than Intel Core i5-3470, but you have very good graphic card. We will see, but I think you have good computer.
