This is relative you can get faster speed if you pay more. :D

  5. If you compare internet rates you should also compare wages...

    I come from Hungary.

  10. Oklahoma/USA............25 Mbps.......around 40 USD a month. Really only 2 ISP to choose from here, and neither are cheap.

Germany / state: Nordrhein Westfalen: I pay 49 € for Telephone and Internet 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. I have to say that this is more than average, because of the fact that i use a DSL/LTE hybrid connection, which is the best and only choice for the location where i live to have fast internet.

    Download 20 Mb/s
    Upload 2 Mb/s
    Price per month: 505Kč ≐ 18.68 EUR

    +

    O2 TV M
    Price per month: 299Kč ≐ 11.06 EUR

    +

    Volání CZ 50 Kamkoli
    Price per month: 99Kč ≐ 3.66 EUR
    --------------------------------------------
    Total: 903Kč ≐ 33.62 EUR

I think so too. Hardware prices are the same for all countries, but wages and tax rules are different. What a pity that there is no one from Norway or Sweden, most likely they pay the biggest price.

Dunno about details, I'm paying 25 euros for quite decent internet and bunch of cable TV channels that I don't use (got them only for the net, same package).
