I tried to edit a file in the locale folder. I put locale/en/upgrade.txt in my mod and started editing it. This didn't work. The mod still ran but no messages were changed at all. Do I have to put the entire locale folder and content in my game? Or are we not permitted to change messages?

I have changed some upgrade results in the academy and they are not reflected correctly in the message. I tried to change each message and it does not work. I wonder, is there a way to make it work?

Thats because its not the .txt files.

GSC uses a batch file that ports .txt files to the actual file type (.lng) so you need to either do the same or get the editorlang.exe that lets you change .lng files
