There's a issue with Mod Manager on Steam, usually when you click on play you get an option to go to Mod Manager where you can pick which mod you want to play, but now, for some reason, this option does not appear and the game launches automatically, very annoying.
There is a work around, on the discussions page on Steam, if you open the C3 folder change the name of the 'cossacks' application, it doesn't matter to what, then change the name of the 'modman' application to cossacks, now when you launch the game it will open Mod Manager, don't forget to change the names of the applications back to what they were.
I came back to check what was happening with C3. Problems as usual, I see. Is anyone official going to fix this bug properly? Anyone in this thread still playing vanilla or any mod? Update. This seems a very clunky workaround. Especially every time a person wants to change a mod or go back to vanilla. Anyone got a better workarounf? Perhaps a pasted shortcut which starts modman.exe in the correct mode for changing mods. I've been playing around with that idea but I can't get anything to work yet.
2nd Update. I tried the method Loner posted. It works fine and is quite easy to do if you can use file manager, file explorer or whatever your OS calls it. Still, we shouldn't have to resort to this. It almost looks to me like a Steam change caused this issue not a C3 change, but I could be wrong.
Good day, sorry for the delay. We are aware of this issue and we are currently working on a fix. It's a steam-related issue, sadly, and it will be fixed. Thank you.
