[MOD][MM] Day & night cycle

    Hello Cossacks3 Fans!

    My name is StriKe and while digging through some files I found this hidden day & night cycle system. It isn't finished yet (for example there is no graphic for the moon) but I took the opportunity to re-enable it and it works like a charm.

    I think this adds to the visual dynamic of the game and brings it closer to the year 2016.

    This mod supports the Mod Manager, visible by the tag [MM]. You can get it here.
    Credits for the Mod Manager to Lieutenant-Général.

    Warranty:
    Feel free to use this mod as you like, however if you include this in another project I would appreciate some credit. ;)
    Use it at your own risk! I haven't tried it in multiplayer and I do not know if it is allowed. If you get banned, or your computer explodes - you have been warned.

    Download the latest file from this link.

    Copy the file to:
    Code:
    Cossacks 3/mod
    Install the file via Mod Manager

    Nice job enabling the day/night cycle.

    Just a question since we can't try it out yet, does performance take a hit and if so how much of a hit exactly?

    God dang it. I wished the remaster had present dynamic TOD (time of the day) for more eye-candy.

    It's in the files, just not polished so they deactivated it for the time being.

    Good work! I also see there's the basis for rain and other weather in the files...

    When I read your post I thought you meant that there was no graphic for the moon , so I pointed out to it.

    You seem to be stuck on something else. I'll add you on steam, it's probably easier to talk there.

    EPIC.
    I remember asking on the facebook page if there was gonna be a day/night cycle and they replied not in the game, but the engine supports it and it will be able to be modded. Nice job!

    This is great, there seems to be a lot of stuff in the game engine that has yet to be used or implemented and the game looks capable of things far greater than the basic release caters for. Lots of possibilities here.

    Which game engine we talking about? C1 or C3? That looked like a C1 animation. :)

    Hi all, There is talk of cossacks 3 engine.

    Cossacks 1 and American Conquest are games in 2D. The cossacks 3 engine is not comparable to engine cossacks 1. In cossacks 1 there is no entertainment. it works like a cartoon
