For example. I specified why C2 is not simulation and why it is arcade game. You still try medley and state clear false suppositions again. Do not suggest that whole forum tell that I am wrong. This is simply your lie. You did not check whole forum in that matter. I proposed many ideas, including artillery crews in C3 game many times ago. Here you are an example. http://www.cossacks3.com/forum/index.php?threads/cossacks-3-wish-list.45/ Many fans discussed and liked these ideas. Here you are next thread where majority voted for artillery crews in C3. http://www.cossacks3.com/forum/index.php?threads/cannon-crews-yes-or-no.366/ So, majority somehow voted for my idea. Then I was not wrong. I do not push my ideas on you. If you do not like it, you could not read them. It's quite easy.
Still waiting for it but it feels really dead... I am not a hardcore fan of Cossacks 1 but I am waiting for Mount & Blade Bannerlord as well and I cannot help but compare the PR between the two and the difference is striking. Bannerlord has been developed since 2012 as well but we have gameplay videos, interviews of Gamecon, people are really excited. Here they really lost the momentum... Regarding the C1 and C2 debate, you are really missing American conquest as a middle ground. There you still have the C1 base with mines, upgrades, peasants but you also have morale and different damage according to range. Cannon crews in AC were nicely done, reloading the cannons slowly but with a good detail. I don't want to comment the Native American cousins of Usain Bolt So if you see when were all these game released you will realise what tendencies were guiding the devs before they started making C3. To be honest, I agree that C2 is somewhat closer to TW but even then sometimes I felt C2 to be a bit arcade in battle. One usual tactic for me was to hide squads of cavalry behind a line of infantry. I open fire with the infantry, then enemy infantry fires as well, I charge with the cavalry right through my troops, fire and point blank at them and go for the sword. The enemy usually routs within seconds as they fall back. So in situations like this it feels somewhat arcadish. But still, what do you want of a 10 years old game?
The devs said we would get a gameplay video before release.... so that has to be today right? since release is tomorrow...
Hi guys, I am going to defuse this situation here. Everyone has their own opinions. Stop arguing with each other on what Cossacks 2 was/is/could be. It's a game not life, I you didn't like it don't play it, I can now see the same waves of comments coming in about Cossacks 3. I think they have done well so far and cannot wait for it to go on sale tomorrow. And most of you I will see on the field. Yours Lady Lauren
You would hope/thought so, wouldn't you? I think at this rate, their 'marketing' will comprise of the youtube videos as they were asking for respectable youtube users who could play the game.

OMG there really is no gameplay video This is really embarrasing. Saying we show gameplay video before release and than not showing anything.
