GSC is cheating us. It's 16 hours before release and there is still no gameplay video. From now I don't trust to those developers.

 

GSC some crooks. Liars and frustrated.
Data launches 1 year delay
No beta, no gameplay video.
I will not buy the game. I will use the torrent.

 

There is no excuse to torrent. Yes it is very disappointing that yet again despite being told we would get a video before release the devs have broken their promise. Yet if you love the Cossack series you need to support it by buying the game not stealing it.

Just wait until tomorrow, the players will upload plenty of game play to YouTube then you can see if you think its worth your money or not.

I'd honestly like to see those create a game with certain deadlines and manage to stick to them, never mind that statement I'd like to see any of you who are calling GSC down make a game in general.

These guys are very busy and are good at what they do.

What do you do for a living?? Sit on the doh? Still at school?
Instead of moaning like spoiled little brats enjoy, the mystique that surrounds the Cossacks genre.

Sorry Lady lauren but I disagree with you here.
Many of us are adult individuals who have a job and a family. I for example work on scientific book production and me and my work mates have a strict deadline. There is a buffer time if anything bad/unexpected happens. For example if somebody is ill or dies (which happend to my workmate 3 years ago.) But if the deadline is crossed too far than our production would be canceld. We won't get paid anymore and the whole project would be dissolved. 5 years ago I worked in the Housebuilding Industry and there it was the same. I am also a modder and I learn how to make games in my spare time. So I can image how hard it is to make a game and survive in the game industry.

The majority of the people here is not moaning about GSCs work but about GSCs unfullfilled promises. And making false promises and Lies isn't really something good. Isn't it?

There is no reason the be rude to the people here in this forum. But there are logical reasons why people here are dissapointed.

Whilst there are some over-the-top replies regarding the developers and their progress, I feel there is a common feeling that GSC could have been better regarding their take on PR.

There are many games developers, not just huge AAA games-makers, but also those very lightly-staffed (or solo) indie developers who try to connect with their audience with regular imagery and most importantly gameplay videos, so it's odd that they felt they couldn't share that with us (there was a moment where a beta was imminent however that fell flat too). As much as I really want Cossacks 3 to do well, I feel they have missed a trick with no attempt to engage with a new audience. You just have look at the Steam forums to see that there are lots of basic questions still being asked....with one more day to go!

Having said that, it's near release and whatever will be will be - not a lot can change now, though I hope those new to the series are not disappointed and they can enjoy some great battles online.

Well as i always say, "Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment" guess will soon find out, shame I lost all hype for this game months ago, and still i check the forums for news every day multiple times, and try to make my own advertisement for this game to my friends/family/co workers but none are interested about something that no one is talking about....well shame...
