At my place it is the 20th now but I can't download the game data in my steam libary I don't want to wait any longer. I think I will go sleeping soon. Well at least something happened. That DLC thing poped up there in the middle:

I can not find this "early bird" version on Steam, only "cossacks 3" but no option to buy.
What should i look for?

 

The early bird will be automatically activated on your account if you buy the game within the first 2 weeks after its release (this afternoon)

 

All this crazy situation is not surprise for me.
I never believed in GSC fairy tales about C3 game release in 4Q 2015, beta tests, game play video before release etc.
They broke their own promises so many times that fans get crazy. I also was disappointed, however never frustrated, becouse I expected they will not hold the line.

Therefore I made so many questions, suggestions, remarks and ideas to show how they could improve the game.
There was lot of time to ask people what customers want to see in the game, discuss main wishes, make tests and change more things in the game.

GSC did not want to go this way. They simply ignored many fans wishes and expectations. That was very bad.
I can not uderstand why they did it, but that was the worst marketing I ever saw in my long life.

I think they could ask for bigger help from specialised companies.
For instance, Polish cdp company showed that can do fine work, well prepared C3 box and few other nice things.
They had experience and great success with video game development and led fine marketing campaigns.

I do know why GSC did not want to listent to their fans and customers wishes.

Nevertheless I am still waitnig for their RTS game.

 

So.... it's 20th morning but I still canno't buy the game.

I understand your frustration, but you must also understand that they are those who have invested a lot of money & time in the development, so it also brings great responsibility.
I suggest you wait until the game spreads between players. Maybe it can work this way. Give it a try.

 

I am not frustrated, I am disappointed and afraid that GSC led very bad marketing. Many people even do not know that today is C3 game premiere. This way GSC simply lost lot of customers and money.

I gave GSC a try many times and bought their RTS games, but they still do not want to listen to fans wishes.
Therefore I have only a little hope they can satisfy lot of customers this time.

Do GSC know that customers satisfaction play key role in business success?

 

The "Early Bird DLC" appears automatically in your steam libary if you buy the game in the first weeks after release.

And i have to agree with the marketing thingy, this was a problem 16 years ago,
(back then, Russian and German versions were released months before english, so that americans who came into the game as noobs, got their buts kicked by experience russian and german players, this mistake was repeated for all versions of Cossacks)

But hey, the guys at GSC make a unique and terrific game,
and it's hard to be good at more than 1 thing.
No, éven more, its already hard to be good at 1 thing.

 

Is this game releasing or not? I want to see some gameplay

 

Steam says the Game will be released today in a few hours.

 

Got the cd too, but will only open it after I have seen a real gameplay, otherwise I'll send it unopened back.
With gameplay I mean how does the ingame menu looks like and so on.

It's kind of mind blowing isn't it....here we have a game being released, we have no real gameplay video, we don't even know what any in game menus look like and it's being released in a couple of hours. All I can say is thank goodness for Steams refund option.

 

you cant refound if game design is not to your liking only when you have some kind of problem runing it

I rememeber one Relic's stream with one guy from Company of Heroes 2 team who had 40hrs on his own game.

I guess don't need to say how much he sucked
