Hmm, this looks like old Cossacks 1 game with new graphic elements.

I wonder what is a sense to buy C3 game which looks like old C1 game with improved graphics?
Is 3D graphic in RTS game really important? I think more innovations should be included in C3 game.

Thanks for the new photo! I really like the new user interface. It seems modern and clear.
Honestly, I am very glad that it looks like a "C1 with improved graphics". After all, the mechanics of C1 were great.
Now, please show us more! We know you can do it!

Are you jocking there? You probably did not notice flaws of mechanics of C1.
I can show you few examples:
    = poor path finding issues,
    - stacking and blobbing units and formations,
    - blobbing crowds of hundreds units can fight in small place,
    - mixed cavalry, infantry and artillery units can fight at the same place,
    - poorly sailing ships can crash together and do not suffer serious damage,
    - formations can passing through other formations without any loses and disorder,
    - poor formations manouvres, especially group of formations, they can not march in right order at long distance,
    - formations can not open fire when few soldiers do not reach their positions in formation yet,
    - towers can not be sensible build inside or behind the walls,
    - small wheat plants create even in the middle of the town,
    - resources yellow dot holes locate close to each other etc.

There were so many flaws then it is hard to say that C1 mechanics were really great.

Everyone can have their own taste in terms of game and like a game even with its flaws. Like Afritus I consider Cossacks 1 a great game, sure it has room for improvement but the developper are player too I think they noticed most of them and did what they thought necessary.

And I would say it's the town that grow around the mill generally in Cossacks :p

Yes C1 had many flaws, so i hope they will not make C3 just a 1 to 1 copy of C1.

I'm not waiting new features in C3 but agree that C1 had many annoying bugs.
This is what I expect from C3:
    New graphics
Fixed those annoying bugs that had C1 (I'd like to see better multiplayer experience)

No, I am not joking. And please try to argue and discuss in a more... mature way.
By "mechanics were great" I didn't mean that the bugs were great and formation issues were nice and that the path finding problems were superb. I meant that the mechanics in a more abstract way were great, like the overall gameplay experience and what the idea behind the game was. Of course I hope that bugs and other issues will be fixed in a remake - but this should always be the case (especially in 2016), not only for remakes. If you thought otherwise, you obviously didn't understand what I was saying.

Oh, you must be some kind of magician. Apparently, you are able to identify bugs in an image of the game, because I was only referring to the last photo. However, that's what remakes usually are. The same gameplay (without the bugs, to be clear now), but with improved/newer technology.

I'm sorry you are joking or saying strange things there.
How you can call the game mechanics were great when you knew that C 1 game had many flaws, bugs and other issues?
Even you meant the game mechanics in a more abstract way, like overall gameplay experience, it is hard call something was great when it needed so many fixes.

This sounded that after all, the mechanics of C1 were great, but needed many, many fixes.

That was illogical therefore I can not undestood what you was saying there.
I am not magician, I only take it logically.

Remake with the same gameplay, but with improved/newer technology needs more changes to improve bugs and other issues known from old game mechanics. So, old game mechanics were not really great when it needed so many fixes, isn't it.

You do not mean that C1 game flaws, bugs and other issues were nice.
I guess we can agree that these flaws needs fixes in C3 game.

I am neither joking nor saying strange things. Please read my post again - I didn't talk about existent bugs and issues, but rather about the idea behind the game, the combat, the units and so on. This was great, regardless the bugs. Moreover, we shouldn't forget Cossacks was originally released in 2000. This is 16 years ago. For instance, complex path-finding systems would have required a reasonable amount of resources (I mean CPU processing power) - especially for such large amounts of units. Age of Empires 2 still struggles with path finding, even the recently released Age of Empires 2 HD edition.
Let us for one moment be happy that a game like Cossacks 3 is to be released. As I mentioned earlier in another post, we don't owe the developers anything. And - of course - let's hope they are true to their word and release the game in Q1 2016.

Yeah, well, sure we can agree on this one. It's no surprise, however, because I think noone wants a game with issues and flaws.
