That's an interview with the composer of the soundtracks for the game - Yaroslav Odrin. The composer knows well the soundtracks from the previous titles. He explains how he makes the track for each country, made a research for each country. On the question what's the progress on the soundtrack thus far he answers: "Nothing ever is fully finished... It is well known that for the director till the release of the film; for the student till the exam; for the musician till the concert - they are always 1 day short on something. So I think, even in the night before the release there would be something to finish."
Yaroslav also speaks about composing the tracks for Sweden and Ukraine. Clear stylization of the main themes of the region for Sweden and more interestingly, a "micromotive mosaic" for Ukraine - using motives from popular folk songs to create a melody; the motives twist with each other and are both connected and independent in a way.

The interview is quite lenghty, so I just presented the highlights I found interesting.

Any news is good news to me. Also music is a big part of strategy games, one you don't really notice unless it's done badly. From what we've seen so far hopefully the music for C3 will be good.

for me too, no news are the worst news, a bad news that it will delayed even further is better than nothing.

    And Edit:
dammit if C3 have as good graphics as your pic I will not able to play it because my graphic card is too bad, therefore I hope C3 does not use such impressive visuals :)

As I already said earlier, expect a release date of July/August.
The beta testing could already be underway, the reason some of us don't know about it is because we weren't picked to be the in the initial batch of testers, anyone doing beta testing have signed a non-disclosure agreement so we won't know whose testing and who isn't.

Nobody in the community is. They would have to announce it. A non-disclosure agreement doesn't include telling other people that you have been selected for something. NDA are only for not releasing information about close doors projects, not to prevent you from saying that you have access to something secret. The only thing they could have right now is people chosen by them personally who are not very active here.

I thought they were going to select the most active members/contributors on the forums to be the beta testers :D:D:D:p:p:p

There is always a group of beta testers before anybody else is selected that is pre-selected by all devs. Normally they are people close to them. Then they start selecting from communities and other sources.

A graphics card for approximately EUR 150 should be able to play Cossacks 3 on highest details. And even if not - in every game there is the possibility to lower the graphics settings in order to play it on weaker cards.
It doesn't make any sense to create a game with bad visuals - especially not in 2016.

Okay but it's an EA's game. EA has got more money than GSC and they can easily get more people to work on the game, to work on the trailers and the other marketing's stuff. In my opinion GSC can't do so. That could be why we've got just a few news from ghem. Probably they prefer to work on the game than on community. But it's only my personal opinion ;)

Edit: they also can work on two games on the same time. I think EA was planning BF 1 during the release date of BF Hardline but they didn't talk so much about it. Well... nothing

Even more. I am pretty sure, the first time they said "soon" is more than half a year ago.

I joined these forums almost a year ago and back then the game was about to be released in early Q4. Then late Q4, then January, then May 5, then they dropped the release dates and announced beta coming soon...
