Priority fixes needs to be multiplayer lags (optimize code), multiplayer game reconnect/rejoin, multiplayer save game, multiplayer custom maps (we need to be able to play on custom designed maps). Unit attacking bugs, nothing is worse when you attack a formation that is on stand ground and you get slaughtered because of the way the formations attack, stand ground is far too powerful. Stacking of unit formations is a real problem and incredibly unrealistic, it should be separate formations attacking/defending, not a blob of stacked formations in one spot. This is not hard to fix, just make it that 2 or more formations cannot take up the same space on a map. Less, but still important are Algeria getting a gunpowder unit, some suggest the Bedouin unit which has a musket, you cannot play with Algeria against any other nation, Algeria is often randomly selected in a random nations game, no one want's to get Algeria. The thing that is annoying about this is that its so easy for GSC to do, they literally just have to reskin a unit and add some lines of text to the game files, no programming required.

I know they had one programmer working on Cossacks 3 because they advertised the job position last year. I personally think all they will offer is a few bug fixes that wont matter and they will provide the Cossacks/American Conquest series as a "gift" for Cossacks 3 owners, I think they were working on getting them compatible with Windows 7/8/10.
Speaking of, it's the anniversary of the first Cossacks, GSC said under some post that they were still working on the update but couldn't give a precise date yet. I really wonder what it will be about, what kind of fixes or additions can take this much time, it must be quiet substantial. I hope that it won't cause too much trouble for mods to update

I have a feeling they may announce American Conquest 2 soon, it looks like they want to fix all the issues with Cossacks 3 with a big patch update to keep good faith with the fans and at the same time announce the new title they have been working on, it makes more sense as you wouldn't bother fixing Cossacks 3 which is over 5 years old unless you wanted to keep good faith in your customers for the next game release, Stalker 2 has also been delayed until next April.
Cossacks 5th anniversary is coming soon, last year GSC left this : I'm a hopefull dreamer who still believe one day we will have an update, I mean @Tapik (He even passed by this month on the forum) talked about it in the very late of October 2018, a Cossacks team working on it ! Would you believe it ? Somehow next to the big Stalker that was just announced (and which look pretty cool now from what we can see) there was/is still a team for Cossacks ! But GSC is a mysterious studio that keep informations well hidden and apart from some small messages from times to times on social pages and the few comments there were no news, it could have been dropped for all we know. As much as I like Cossacks, I must admit, it's only the work of @Awar, @Loner or @Johny on mods that kept me coming here and check from times to times if there was anything news on GSC side. But this year, it look a bit different to me. Well the was the problem with the Mod manager in May (sad times), but more than that, since then I learned you could see on SteamDB the history of a game and the changes that were made on it even if it wasn't an update the general public got. And it look great ! Or maybe not ... the true is I don't really understand what going on. Is it the test of an update for the game ? Or maybe just some change from Steam to the Cossacks thingies on Steam market, a package that slightly different. In May there was definitely something the 19th, probably the source of the problem with the mod manager, there are lines about a beta and a testpass. The following month got nothing interesting some changes about the ratings of the game. But the 14th of this month there was something, again about a Beta and Testpass, and it was a change from the number of May to new one ! And so I want to believe it's an anniversary update to the game ! Maybe the mythical Mac update, maybe more, but I do hope it come. Love your work Foeurdr! Yes it appears something is on the way, this Tuesday the 21st is the anniversary date so maybe they will share what they have been working on. On one the developers LinkedIn page it still lists "Unannounced Title" maybe its American Conquest 2 they have been working on as well at the same time as Stalker 2.
A post on Facebook marking the 5th anniversary of it's release but apart from that nothing, once again they never fail to disappoint.
I was waiting for it yesterday and then there was this diffusion on their page, "Amazing ! They are even streaming the new patch", I even opened twitch to check on and the youtube channel but it was just this 15 secondes loop. Still I tried to ask is there was a patch for the mod manager coming but it was without success. On the bright side, there is nothing to break the mods we got !
Just an update, it appears finally we will be getting a long awaited patch update! Finally a GSC developer is on Steam answering questions (there had not been a GSC dev in a very very long time in the Steam discussions), someone in the Discussions asked the question: "Are campaigns playable now? Have the bugs been fixed? Are there any community patches?" to which the dev responded "We'll try to fix it in nearest patches." https://steamcommunity.com/app/333420/discussions/0/5913784177860328334/ He has also answered some other questions on the Cossacks 3 steam discussions. Someone with a Steam account should start a new discussion in the Cossacks 3 discussions asking the direct question about the future of the game and when should we expect a patch update?

Good job guys! If only developers released some new content (like Crimean Khanate or Persia as playable factions and some new unique units to other countries) and repair game bugs. I'd love to go back to playing on Steam. I greet all of you.
