    Dear friends!

    There's a small pause in tournament era, and that means we're getting new balance changes. This patch drastically changes the melee units, greatly improves the food as main resource, and of course changes alot of different units stats!

    Patch Notes 1.08.17 (1.8.1.80.5478)

    Battle:
    - Attack animation speed is decreased by 20%. Attack time is higher by 25%. All melee units start to deal damage less frequently. While shooters reload time wasn't changed
    - Removed 30% chance that mortar ball won't deal any damage.
    - Changes in map generation rules. Places for one gold, iron and coal mines were moved further from the base.

    Economics:
    - Decreased needed count of wheat cut out to gather food from 26 to 22 times
    - Increased portion of gathered food by 12.5%
    - Price for buying Iron and Coal is increased by ~40%. Now you have to sell more resources to get same amount of Iron and Coal. Selling price of this resources wasn't changed

    General:
    Mill:
    - 2st food harvesting upgrade efficiency decreased from 250 to 180%

    Academy:
    - Field life upgrade cost decreased from 1400 wood 525 gold to 1000 wood 475 gold
    - "New construction materials" upgrade cost decreased from 13500 wood, 8714 stone, 1150 gold to 9400 wood, 7850 stone, 1150 gold
    - Design new barrel types' upgrade cost decreased from 7000 stone, 9050 gold, 27235 iron to 3000 stone, 4550 gold, 19200 iron
    - "Develop geology" upgrade cost decreased from 500 gold to 250 gold
    - "Develop medical science" research time doubled, and effects reduced in 2 times (heals 50% of health points now)

    Blacksmith:
    - "Forge metal armature" upgrade cost decreased from 19320 stone, 350 gold, 900 iron to 12320 stone, 350 gold, 900 iron

    Artillery Depot:
    - 1st, 2nd and 3rd upgrades for cost and construction time for cannons and howitzers research times decreased from 31.25s to 10s

    Balance:
    Coselette - Spain:
    - Pike protection decreased from 4 to 3

    Pikeman 17th century - Poland:
    - Fixed bug when 6th protection upgrade gave +3 only to sword, and not to pike and arrow

    Roundshier - Austria:
    - 5th protection upgrade protection bonus decreased from 2 to 1

    18th century Pikeman - Europe:
    - Training time decreased from 1.5s to 1.25s

    18th century Pikeman - Sweden:
    - Training time decreased from 2s to 1.5s

    Serdiuk - Ukraine:
    - Damage increased from 10 to 12
    - 5th and 6th damage upgrades bonus damage decreased by 1

    17th century Musketeer - Austria:
    - Training time decreased from 7.5s to 6.5s

    17th century Musketeer - Spain:
    - Training time decreased from 9s to 7.5s

    17th century Musketeers, Janissary, Strelets:
    - 3rd protection upgrade's food costs decreased by 1000-2000

    Archer - Algeria:
    - Training time decreased from 2s to 1.5s

    Turkish Archer - Turkey:
    - Training time decreased from 4.5s to 3s

    17th century Officer - Europe:
    - Health points decreased from 150 to 125
    - Damage decreased from 40 to 30
    - Training time decreased from 12s to 10s
    - Gold consumption rate increased from 40 to 60
    - Damage upgrade's bonus damage decreased from +30 to +20
    - Upgrade time decreased from 47s to 15s

    17th century Officer - Russia:
    - Health points decreased from 150 to 125
    - Damage decreased from 55 to 40
    - Training time decreased from 15s to 12.5s
    - Gold consumption rate increased from 40 to 60
    - Protection upgrade's bonus increased from +8 to +10

    17th century Officer - Turkey, Algeria:
    - Health points decreased from 150 to 125
    - Training time decreased from 10s to 7.5s
    - Gold consumption rate increased from 35 to 50
    - Damage upgrade's bonus damage decreased from +30 to +20
    - Protection upgrade's bonus increased from +8 to +10

    17th century Officer - Scotland:
    - Health points decreased from 200 to 150
    - Training time decreased from 14s to 10s
    - Gold consumption rate increased from 45 to 70
    - Damage decreased from 45 to 40
    - Protection upgrade's bonus increased from +8 to +10

    18th century Officer - Europe:
    - Health points decreased from 150 to 125
    - Damage decreased from 75 to 50
    - Gold consumption rate increased from 80 to 90
    - Damage upgrade's bonus damage decreased from +75 to +30

    Hussar - Europe:
    - Health points increased from 200 to 230
    - Training time decreased from 16.5 to 15s

    Hussar - Prussia:
    - Health points increased from 210 to 240
    - Training time decreased from 12 to 11.25s

    Hussar - Hungary:
    - Health points increased from 225 to 250
    - 6th damage upgrades damage bonus decreased by 1

    Croat - Austria
    - Health points increased from 240 to 260
    - Training time decreased from 18s to 15.75s

    Hackapellita - Sweden
    - Health points increased from 220 to 245
    - Training time decreased from 19.5s to 18s

    Reiter - Europe:
    - Damage increased from 12 to 15
    - 3rd, 4th and 5th damage upgrades damage bonus decreased by 1
    - Damage upgrade research time increased from 15 to 23s
    - Protection upgrade research time decreased from 15 to 8s

    Cuirassier - Europe:
    - Training time increased from 21s to 22.5s

    Reiter - Sweden:
    - Damage increased from 11 to 14
    - 3rd, 4th and 5th damage upgrades damage bonus decreased by 1
    - Damage upgrade research time increased from 15 to 23s
    - Protection upgrade research time decreased from 15 to 8s

    Reiter - Poland:
    - Health points increased from 175 to 190

    Don Cossack - Russia:
    - Training time decreased from 15s to 13.5s

    Vityaz - Russia:
    - Damage increased from 11 to 14
    - 3rd, 4th and 5th damage upgrades damage bonus decreased by 1
    - Damage upgrade research time increased from 15 to 23s
    - Protection upgrade research time decreased from 15 to 8s

    Light Sipahi - Turkey:
    - Damage increased from 12 to 15
    - 1st, 2nd and 3rd damage upgrades damage bonus decreased by 1
    - Damage and protection upgrades costs decreased.

    Heavy Sipahi - Turkey:
    - Damage increased from 12 to 15
    - Training time decreased from 19.5s to 18s
    - 3rd, 4th and 5th damage upgrades damage bonus decreased by 1

    Mameluke - Algeria:
    - Damage increased from 13 to 16
    - 1st, 2nd and 3rd damage upgrades damage bonus decreased by 1
    - Damage and protection upgrades costs decreased.

    17th century Dragoon - Europe
    - Training time decreased from 16.5s to 15s

    Tatar - Turkey
    - Training time increased from 9s to 11.25s

    Cannon:
    - Health points increased from 6000 to 9000
    - Maximum attack range increased from 2000 to 2160

    Mortar:
    - Protection increased from 10 to 25
    - Dispertion decreased from 250 to 200

    Buildings:
    Artillery depot:
    - Construction time decreased from 380s to 300s

    Mercenaries:
    Archer:
    - Price is now slightly increasing, depending on count of these units (like the 18th century mercenary dragoons).
    - Maximum attack range decreased from 700 to 650
    - Price increased from 6 gold to 15 gold
    - Training time increased from 1s to 1.25s
    - Gold consumption rate increased from 8 to 16

    Light infantry:
    - Training time increased from 1s to 1.25s

    Grenadier:
    - Price is now slightly increasing, depending on count of these units (like the 18th century mercenary dragoons).
    - Bullet damage increased from 15 to 16
    - Price changed from 20 gold to 25 gold
    - Gold consumption rate increased from 40 to 60

    Sich Cossack:
    - Price is now slightly increasing, depending on count of these units (like the 18th century mercenary dragoons).
    - Damage decreased from 9 to 8
    - Training time decreased from 2.75s to 2.5s
    - Gold consumption rate increased from 75 to 150

    18th century Dragoon:
    - Price changed from 100 gold to 120 gold
    - Gold consumption rate increased from 90 to 120

    Why do not you improve Winged Hussar? Now Vityaz or Heavy Sipahi and all heavy cavalry is much , much better and train faster . Although historically it was completely different!!!

    For example :

    Winged Hussar - recruit time 26 , melee protection 2 , attack 14 , hp 225
    Heavy Sipahi - recruit time 18 , melee protection 7 , attack 15 , hp 360

    Bulshit ! :mad:

    I agree that winged hussar should be stronger, but all changes are really good! I accept it fully and I wish you making more changes like this. I really enjoy food changes. Good job :)

    All changes are good. I think only Winged hussar hp and attacking power and Strelets fire power needed. Maybe they can add with new patches or Dlc's. Don't be angry Kamilow good game takes time. They'll add I believe.

    lol, are you joke? Winged Hussar is one of OP units in game. Only idiots attack with Winged Hussar vs Heavy Sipahi or other units like that.
    Winged Hussar have:
    a) Shotgun protection
    b) Buckshot protection
    с) 2 Upgrade to the cuirass in the academy and forge
    d) And the most important thing (!!!) Fast moving speed.

    For Winged Hussar its no problem to kill all rifle units/peasents or pikemans.. If you cant play with Winged Hussar its not mean that unit is bad :)

    If Winged Hussars was killing Russian Vityaz or Turkish Sipahi in real life, its not mean that they must kill all cavalry in game :)
    GSC and me, as a tester-balancer, want to do game that will be more adaptive for cybersport. So its normal that some things not corresponds to the historical accuracy

    Baton, what are you talking about? I have never seen anyone in multilayer recruiting winged hussar. In most of cases light raiter is better and you can make test in editor. As far as I remember you can make 4 light raitars in time of recruiting one winged hussar. They destroy winged hussar.

    i can full upgrde my winged hussar on 15 minute, for example. And light raiter will in full upgrade on 25 minute. Becouse its much more expensive. Check the games of top players - all plays with winged hussar in ladder

    I do not think that Turkish Cavalry was weak, they were very good esspecialy Heavy and Standard Sipahi :D (devs should add Deli Horsmen too). Just let them improve Winged Hussars because they are building very long and they stats are small.

    I suggest:

    315hp, 17 attack (max 33, final upgrades very cheap), melee protection 5

    I am also high in ladder, but maybe you are right. I didn't have much occasion to fight as Poland. I know about high upgrade costs in light raitar, however in longer term hussar is weaker. In this game there is many different rules than 5k 0pt and your ladder.

    Shooters are really OP now. Building only musketeers and dragoons.. pikeman goes to soup .. 0 pt is about rushing cossacks. Maybe in 10 pt they are still somewhat good if there is no diplo.
    And another suggestion: mounted melee units should have the ability to ride over single units just like an express train, flattening them out. It would be quite realistic indeed and looking cool.

    Okay I misunderstood:)) Sorry Kamilow. They(heavy and standart sipahi) are very strong now but after this patch:)) Before the patch standart sipahi was very weak:))I delete my words. Yes Hunrex we forgot to play with pikemen only play with dragoon and musketeers:)) Maybe mounted units can dismount and fight like standart infantries:))

    Russia is useless in anything other than 0-10pt.

    Please, increase Strelets rate of fire! They cannot compete with polish or hungarian rate of fire in 17c (even when in higher numbers) and has nothing to offer in 18c. Such a shame! Are the ukranian devs anti-russia? :rolleyes:

    Against thoose shooters you can use cannons. If you play n o artillery you shouldnt choose russia. With artillery Russia is good because of Vityazes defense.

    I don't think the problem of the strelet lie in his rate of fire, it has more to do with the range of their musket. The strelet is, stat wise, a good early musketeer but his shorter range mean he always at a disavantage when confronted to other shooter. You can try to offset this thanks to the numerous barracks russia can build and by using some units as a shield wall like one formation of pikemen and roundshier they will help you cover the distance.

    Baton, Some of the players said this problem I told the developers. I have no problem with Polish or other country units. Just told player wishes to developers. I forgot the tell something about the patch. I think this patch is good. Gold mine is very important now:))
