    Has anyone played Lotr: Bfme 2?

    It would seem very realistic if cannon barrels and cavalry charges would cause units to get blown away, obviously the difference in damage and the distance would be relative to the impact and size of the target.

    Also the cavalry that would execute charges would be very vulnerable against pikemans.

    Just a thought.

    It would be nice to see light infantry units get knocked down when charged by heavy cavalry units. As well as see pike formations stop cavalry charges. Cannons that create small impact craters on the ground etc.

    Little details that would add to the overall atmosphere of the game.

    Yes, role o 17th century pikemans as a cover against cavalry should be more pronounced in gameplay.
    Devs said the we will have realistic canonballs efect, so who knows, maybe we will se some damages on landscape.
