I know it would sound like copying empire TW or TW series at all, but it would be cool to have such adaptation for cossacks3. Plenty of people like to play SP at home, build their empire, correct the history.

    Starting years would be:

    Europe 1500

    Europe 1600

    Europe 1700

In order not to make it too TW-like I would simplify the dynasty stuff and leave it more like it was in C2. Of course there should be updates and so on during the game-play.

In C2 there was a map on C3 server presenting a kind of balance between winnings among different nations. It was good but not fully exploited idea. Would be cool to have it again, but in more sane way.

Yes, I also like world map in total war and it would be nice to have something like that in cossacks. But I thing developers somewhere already said that this wouldn't be implemented in C3, at least not in the first stage.

Does anyone remember the game Imperial Glory? I would have loved that game with Cossacks style battles. I thought Imperial Glory actually did some things better than the Total War Series. For one, it determined a couple points on the battle field that were key to hold or take. That way the AI played smarter, it would defend the spot or attack and try to hold the high ground. The other things were foreign embassies, with enough resources and propaganda you could actually assimilate regions/countries to your side without fighting them.

In fact, give me the Empire Total War World Map, IG features, and Cossacks style battles and it would be a great day. Or give me Europa Universalis with Cossacks battles. Even better.

I am pretty sure Cossacks 2 had a world map. But, I agree as well, would be nice to have a world map for Cossacks 3. Amd yes, I remember Imperial Glory, I have it on GOG and play it occasionally, grouse game :) .
