    Dear friends!

Due to our desire to bring Mac and Linux versions of the game up to par with our new standards of quality, we're announcing that the release of Cossacks 3 on Mac and Linux has changed - now it's March 29. This way we can be sure, that the new versions of the game are ready for a release.

But there's no reason to lose heart, as we're glad to announce that a huge content patch will be released in a few days, that will finish the ranking system and tweak the game's balance once again.

    Have a nice day!

Will this new patch break the mods again?

    No, it shouldn't.

I hope it will be final date, without any changes in roadmap.

Only a huge content patch or also a performance patch? Did you understand that the bad performance is the main problem of the game? You should focus on the performance problems instead of content and linux/mac versions. No linux/mac player will be happy with a game which is unplayable.

Exciting news for Mac and Linux users:
The Linux and Mac versions shall enter an open beta phase of the game. Every Mac and Linux player will be able to launch the game on his/her system by following the steps bellow:
    1. Go to your Steam library.
    2. Right-click on Cossacks 3.
    3. Select "Properties".
    4. Select the "Betas" tab
    5. Use "beta000multios" as a beta access code.
    6. Now you can select an appropriate "Beta" from a drop-down menu above.
    7. Now you can participate in the epic battles of 17th and 18th century Europe as well!

    Important!
Due to nature of the Steam betas, Linux players will be able to play play only against players with the same version as them. So if you want to play against your friend who uses Windows, it's necessary for him to follow the steps above and switch to the "Linux beta" version as well.

It doesn't work. I still don't have play button. Mac.

Same here. Opted into the beta, and no option to install/play on OSX. If I select install from the context menu, it tells me its not available on this platform.

I know GSC has a reputation for taking a few attempts to get things right (endless Stalker patches anyone?) but I'm starting to loose faith here. Consistently missing release dates is not doing your PR image any good.

You do realize that its currently April 12th? two weeks past March 29th? Unless you mean 2018?
